What's included

Skipper

Sail with peace of mind with an experienced skipper who ensures safety, navigation and shares his knowledge of the San Blas Islands.

Meals

Enjoy a varied local cuisine, prepared daily on board, with fresh fish, Caribbean specialities and seasonal produce.

Drinks

Enjoy complimentary cold drinks on board: juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea and cocktails to accompany your moments of relaxation.

Private cabin

Relax in a comfortable cabin with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet, preserving your privacy while enjoying the charm of the sailing boat.

All equipment is provided: masks, snorkels, buoys, paddles and water games to explore and have fun in the turquoise waters.

Your stay includes fresh water, WiFi connection via Starlink and fuel, so you can travel worry-free and enjoy every moment to the fullest.

Not included

Kuna Tax

This tax is levied by the Kuna Yala Congress for access to the islands. The cost is $20 USD per person.

Transportation

The flight to Panama City is not included in the price of the trip. Return transportation between Panama City and the boat is not included, but we can arrange it for you.

Transportation and taxes

There is only one road leading to San Blas, and vehicles travelling on it require a special permit. We will arrange your round-trip transportation between your hotel in Panama City and the boat. This transportation includes a taxi and a speedboat that will drop you off at the Yggdrasil sailboat.

The journey takes approximately 4 hours each way and costs approximately US$120 per person for a round trip. Each passenger will also be required to pay US$20 in cash for the entry tax to Guna Yala territory. These fees are not included in the price of the trip.

Private shuttles are also available; please let us know when booking if you prefer this option.

Finalising your booking

To confirm your booking, please send us a clear photo of all passengers’ passports by email or WhatsApp. We will then ask you to pay for your stay in full two weeks before your arrival. The non-refundable deposit of 20% of the trip price is included in the final price, which guarantees your booking.

Please note that your places will not be reserved until you have sent legible copies of all passengers’ passports and paid for your stay on board the Yggdrasil sailing boat.

Cancellations and refunds

The deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your booking, we can transfer it to a future booking, but the cancellation must be made at least two weeks before the departure date. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the departure date, you will be charged 50% of the total price of the trip. If you cancel on the day of departure, no refund will be made. If you need to change your booking, you may do so once, again at least two weeks before the original departure date.

If we have to delay or cancel your trip, you will receive a full refund. In the event of a delay or cancellation due to civil disobedience, acts of government officials or force majeure, the deposit will not be refunded, but may be carried over to future bookings.
